One-Day Application Advantage (Fast Production System)
One of the key benefits of this Vernites exterior painted system is its exceptionally fast drying cycle, allowing professional joinery workshops to complete the full coating process within a single working day.
Typical application schedule:
Apply WEB870 Preserver by dip, spray, brush or roller
(no sanding required after preserver)After approximately 45 minutes, apply the primer coat
WEB861After 3–4 hours drying, lightly sand by hand
(abrasive sponge or sanding block recommended, not machine sanding)Finish with the exterior top coat
WET885
In most cases, windows and doors can be safely packed and dispatched the following day.
This makes the system ideal for manufacturers looking for a high-quality exterior finish with a fast turnaround time.
Important Note
For fully pore-free “plastic-like” finishes where the timber grain must be completely filled, an additional primer coat may be required, which extends the overall application schedule.
Added Timber Protection
The WEB870 preserver also helps to seal timber pores, reduce excessive primer absorption, and provides additional protection against moisture, biological growth and long-term exterior degradation — significantly improving service life of windows and doors.
High Durability Option (2K System)
For maximum performance, a 2K cross-linked system is also available for professional exterior joinery.
Suitable for demanding UK weather conditions and long-term durability.
