Vernites translucent water-based lacquer systems are designed to protect exterior timber windows and doors while maintaining the natural wood appearance.
These finishes are ideal for oak, hardwood and softwood joinery, providing long-lasting UV resistance and breathable protection against UK weather conditions.
Recommended System Build-Up (1K Translucent)
Preserver Coat (Base Protection)
Choose the correct preserver for your timber:
WEI852 – for softwood
WEI858 – for hardwood and oak
Apply 1 coat to improve durability and colour uniformity.
Translucent Top Coat Finish
Vernites Exterior Top Coat WET885 Translucent – 2 to 3 coats
Available in a wide range of translucent wood tones and wood stain finishes.
High Durability Option (2K Translucent System)
For maximum exterior performance, a 2K translucent lacquer system is available:
WET892 Translucent Top Coat
with WIH780/790 hardener (10%)
